Today we are re-thinking our idea of the "shoulder" of the arm. Instead of a drawbridge system, we are now considering a gear based system. Having some issues with gear spaceing. Joel and I are working on the shoulder idea, which would be two gears , giving it some good mechanical advantage. That would be easier to build, operate, and just be better. We have begun to work on the arm. 

FUNDING
We are realising that in order to buy tikets to Huna, we have estimates of about 410$ for a one way trip, and about 300$ for parts that we don't have. This means that we are about 700$ in the hole.

Soluitions
We need to gain money from the community, and the sooner, the better.
Approach local buisnessess and offer a place on our tee-shirts, for a donation of money towards getting us to Huna, or buying more robotics parts.

Sales of baked goods or old robotics parts. Maybe the concession stand will get us out of the hole.
