Today at practice we are working on programming and getting the rest of the robot arm to work. One great thing that happened was the Coach May from the Thunder Mountain Robotics Teams hooked us up with a core motor controller, a part that would have been a large hassle to get due to shipping times. It was required so that we could use our arm and wheels at the same time, a vital thing.
We thought midway through our meeting that we had run out of motor mounts, but alex saved the day and found another.
Joel managed to get a set screw unstuck from the hex wrench which is amazing as we are running out of set screws
Then after long amounts of trial and tribulations with not tightened screws and a program that kept running error messages. WE GOT THE ENTIRE ARM AND CLAW TO WORK. The claw joint, the elbow joint, and the shoulder joints all worked, along with the wheels worked. Now all that is left is to:
(Next Meeting)
 refine our design
and to refine the program.
we also need to work a bit more on the fundraising aspect of things.
