Robotics Log 18 Meeting 22 (Sahil Bathija, 11-29-2017, 4:00-6:30)

Today we took a lot of the robot apart to fix things. (It's also our first Wednesday meeting so that's a moment in our years history!) The programming didn't match up with the motors so now we are fixing all of that and labeling everything so anything like this doesn't happen again. We have been working on the arm too. For the swivel of the arm we found out that the gear we got from Mr. Collman thinking that it was a hex gear won't work, so we'll need another set of any ratio of a worm gear and hex gear. We also are working on a strategy for autonomous but not much. Aiden will be focusing on the program for what we decide to do tomorrow, with or without a working and swiveling arm.
Also we reallllllyyyy need to work on fundraising!!! We have a document with prices and a list of organized (by how far they are) businesses. Also the ferry scheduled looks like it says that we'd have to leave Wednesday for Honnah and then return on Monday. That's a lot of time! Hopefully we can figure out a solution to this soon. Another reason that we need to work on fundraising quickly is that we are going to need to buy those ferry tickets and because we need to register our team, we haven't done that yet! But we're working on it and I have faith in us so hopefully we'll figure out everything soon.
Update: so far we have the program working and labeled except for one motor. I need to leave but hopefully Aiden and Alex will sort this out right after.
