Robotics Log 20 Meeting 25 on 11-7-17 (Ramiro Garcia 4:00pm to  6:30 pm)

Tasks for Today:
Today we had two main missions: to fix our arm, and to get sponsors. For this tasks we initially split our team into two. One team was to go around town to engineering facilities (this team was made up of Ramiro, Sahil, and Toby). The other was to stay and make progress with the arm.

The Sponsor Team was able to get a total of two sponsors who will give us more information later. After we were done with sponsors we cam back to our base to help out the other team. We unfortunately had our main engineer sick today therefore we had to "decode" his engineering. Some of the issues that we faced were that whilst we were able to turn a full 360 degrees, we were now not able to do so. Thankfully we now have a model as to not burn out our motor. What we did was replicate our elbow and changed the gear ratio in order to put less stress on our motor.

In the mean time Sahil worked on tightening the claw, since there was a spot that seemed to constantly unscrew itself. After he was done we began working on attaching the two sections of the arm together.

Today we planned a sleepover at Aidan's at his volunteering. We are going to party at his house with his 70 inch TV.
